Welcome to SolarTFT!

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of SolarTFT’s application, software, website, and services ("Services"). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policyexplains how we handle data in compliance with global privacy laws.

1. Free Use & Future Pricing

SolarTFT is currently free to use—no subscription, fees, or payments are required. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other pricing models in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to users in advance.

We do not store or retain any user data. All predictions are processed in real-time without saving input or output data. We do not collect personal information beyond what is necessary for basic functionality.

2. Eligibility & Access

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If under 18, you need parental or guardian consent. If using the Services on behalf of an entity, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for that entity.

3. Acceptable Use

(a) Permitted Use: You may use SolarTFT for personal, academic, or business purposes as long as you comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

(b) Restrictions: You may not:

• Use the Services in a way that violates laws or infringes rights.
• Reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt to extract source code.
• Use outputs to develop competing services.
• Scrape or extract data from the Services.
• Sell or transfer API access without our permission.
• Misrepresent outputs as human-generated.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

SolarTFT complies with global privacy regulations, including:

• CCPA: We use AWS solely to process solar power data, not personal or client information. No client data is stored, so CCPA’s "sale of data" rules do not apply.
• GDPR: Our AWS infrastructure processes solar data in compliance with GDPR’s technical safeguards. Since we do not collect or retain user/client data, GDPR’s data residency requirements are not triggered.
• Global Standards: AWS ensures all processing meets ISO 27001 and SOC 2 security standards. We only store our own solar training data (no client data), encrypted at rest in S3.

5. Accuracy & Limitations

SolarTFT provides AI-based real-time solar energy forecasting, but results may not always be accurate. Users are responsible for verifying outputs before making decisions based on them.

6. Confidentiality & Security

You must not misuse or disclose any confidential information related to the Services. If you identify a security issue, you must report it to us immediately.

7. Termination of Service

You may stop using SolarTFT at any time. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Services with notice.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

(a) No Warranties: SolarTFT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

(b) Limited Liability: We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our Services.

9. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, and applicable international laws. We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates implies acceptance.
